You earn 50% of the first payment on any paid plan you refer, Plus (£3.99/mo) or Pro (£8.99/mo), monthly or annual. Then 30% of every renewal that customer ever makes, for as long as they stay. Most big VPNs pay 40% once and nothing again. We think the person who sent us a customer should keep earning from them.

How we track

Your link, your credit, for 90 days

Your referral code is captured when someone arrives through your link and attributed at sign-up, with a 90-day window, the longest in the category. First touch wins. No cookie stuffing, no last-click gaming. If you sent them, you get the credit.

Payouts

Monthly, from £20

Payouts run monthly once your balance passes £20, by PayPal or bank transfer. Most programmes make you wait for $100 before you see anything. On a £3.99 product that could take months, so we set the bar where a couple of referred annual plans clear it.

These rates are written into your agreement when you are approved and never changed on you after the fact.

How much can I earn?
You earn 50% of the first payment on every paid subscription you refer (Plus at £3.99/mo and Pro at £8.99/mo), then 30% of every renewal for the lifetime of that customer. Refer one Pro annual subscriber and that is about £45 in the first year, then roughly £27 a year for as long as they renew.
Do I need a big audience?
No. There is no follower minimum to apply. We care more about a genuine, engaged audience than raw numbers. If people ask you for recommendations, you are a good fit.
How does the tracking work?
Your link carries a unique ?ref= code. When someone opens it, the code is stored in their browser for 90 days and read back when they create an account, so the sign-up is attributed to you even if they come back weeks later. It is simple, transparent, and does not rely on tricks.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly, once your balance passes £20, by PayPal or bank transfer. We deliberately set the minimum low: on a low-priced product a $100 threshold would lock small partners out for months, and that is not the kind of programme we want to run.
Can I promote the free plan too?
Absolutely, and it is often the easiest way in. The free plan needs no card, so readers can try ROOT with no risk. Commission is earned when a referred user later upgrades to a paid plan.
What are the rules?
