When are Portugal servers coming?
Soon. Portugal exits are on the ROOT roadmap, with Lisbon, Porto, Braga and Faro planned. Until they are live, Portugal shows as "coming soon" in the app rather than being selectable. We only list countries you can genuinely exit from.
Can I watch RTP Play with ROOT?
Once Portugal servers go live, connect and open RTP Play as normal. Until then Portugal is not selectable in the app. We do not fake a location by quietly routing you somewhere else.
Does ROOT keep logs of what I do in Portugal?
No. ROOT keeps no activity logs on any server, and the Portugal exits will be no different when they go live. We do not record the sites you visit or what you stream, so there is nothing to hand over and nothing to sell.
