Before you install

What to expect: the installer asks for administrator permission once, to set up the WireGuard driver and the ROOT VPN background service. After that, Connect normally needs no further prompts.

If Windows says "Windows protected your PC" when you open the installer: Windows can show this for newer apps it has not seen often yet. Click More info, then Run anyway to install. If your browser marked the file, you can also right-click it, choose Properties, tick Unblock, then open it.

Only install ROOT VPN from this page. Platform previews above show the intended apps; a platform marked in testing has no public download yet.
