Yes. Using a VPN in Norway is legal for everyday privacy, secure Wi-Fi and reaching services you already pay for. As always, you stay responsible for following the terms of the apps and sites you use.
When are Norway servers coming?
Soon. Norway exits are on the ROOT roadmap, with Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger planned. Until they are live, Norway shows as "coming soon" in the app rather than being selectable. We only list countries you can genuinely exit from.
Can I watch NRK TV with ROOT?
Once Norway servers go live, connect and open NRK TV as normal. Until then Norway is not selectable in the app. We do not fake a location by quietly routing you somewhere else.
Does ROOT keep logs of what I do in Norway?
No. ROOT keeps no activity logs on any server, and the Norway exits will be no different when they go live. We do not record the sites you visit or what you stream, so there is nothing to hand over and nothing to sell.
