When are Canada servers coming?
Soon. Canada exits are on the ROOT roadmap, with Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary planned. Until they are live, Canada shows as "coming soon" in the app rather than being selectable — we only list countries you can genuinely exit from.
Can I watch CBC Gem with ROOT?
Once Canada servers go live, connect and open CBC Gem as normal. Until then Canada is not selectable in the app — we do not fake a location by quietly routing you somewhere else.
Does ROOT keep logs of what I do in Canada?
No. ROOT keeps no activity logs on any server, and the Canada exits will be no different when they go live. We do not record the sites you visit or what you stream, so there is nothing to hand over and nothing to sell.
